Sofia Viland has been a soloist of the flute group of the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra since 2013, a diploma winner of the International Rotary Competition in Moscow (2011), winner of the Grand Prix of the the XXI Century Art competition in Kiev (2012) and laureate of the International Tchaikovsky Competition (2019 ). In the interview, Sofia talks about her favorite music, about the repertoire and the intricacies of the profession.
