Mike Reed plays new blues from Canada on his Hammond Organ

This is a modern blues song, based on one I just heard on Indigenous Peoples Radio out of Canada. It was performed by a group fronted by Bebe Buckskin, a young blues singer. It is in “A minor“, with a few twists and turns, and I have merely followed what I heard, adding my own little Hammond Organ stuff here and there. This is how I learn, and how I follow-up on new tunes that I’m into. “Life is Good“ on a magnificent Friday the 23rd of July, 2021. I’m just messin’ with the Blues form here...... check Bebe’s music out. The Blues can tear your heart out, and this has all the right harmonies.... right down to, and including, my addition of a nice little “Tierce Picarde“, a major chord of the tonic at the end of music that is either modal or in a minor key. Very cool, indeed, baby. Funky Friday Hammond.....🌴🎹😎🌴
