How to implement a nonlinear COMBIN39 spring in ANSYS Workbench Mechanical with APDL Commands
A spring connection in ANSYS Workbench Mechanical is usually implemented using the COMBIN14 linear spring element of ANSYS. This video illustrates how to convert a chosen spring element into a nonlinear COMBIN39 element, in which a nonlinear Force-Deflection curve can be entered with point data, using an APDL Commands object.
