While I am taking a break from singles to focus on an album, I wanted to leave you all with something beautiful. As an instrumental project, this is my cover version of Wardruna’s “Helvegen“ track. There are so many amazing covers of this and I really wanted to honor it with one of mine. Firstly, I’d like to thank Einar Selvik of Wardruna for creating such a powerful song, a song about death, the journey into the afterlife. A ballad you would want sang to you as you traveled to next world. It is one of many songs in Midgard in which will speak to you even without words and I tried to capture that.
