@britflicks is delighted to launch the film trailer for Tiago Teixeira’s British horror movie, ’CUSTOM’. ’CUSTOM’ will celebrate it’s World Premiere as part of the FrightFest strand of the Glasgow Film Festival on 9 March 2024. ’CUSTOM’ marks the captivating first feature film by director Tiago Teixeira, featuring performances by Abigail Hardingham and Rowan Polonski. This film is a gripping horror thriller that weaves paranoia into the fabric of its story, expertly merging the realms of death and sex, alongside reality and fantasy. The plot centres around Jasper and Harriet, two arthouse filmmakers dedicated to creating custom erotic films. Despite their artistic ambitions, they face financial hardships. The narrative takes a dark turn when they meet ’The Audience’, an enigmatic client who proposes a lucrative but unsettling offer: to record bizarre rituals on video for a significant sum. This chilling proposition sets the stage for a tale that pushes the boundaries of their creativity and morality. ’CUSTOM’ was produced by Andy Edwards (Graphic Desires, Punch) for Paranoid Android Films. He said, “Once I read the script for Custom, I knew it would fit perfectly with the Paranoid Android slate – it’s dark, it’s original, and with Tiago at the helm it was always going to be visually stunning too.” Abigail Hardingham also took on an associate producer role on the film; she said “Custom speaks to two things I can’t live without, art and sex.
