Students in Milan rally against government, demand Gaza ceasefire

Over a thousand students marched in the Italian city of Milan against the Meloni government’s 2024 budget, and demanded a Gaza ceasefire. The protest coincided with a trade union strike demanding worker and pensioner protection against inflation, a month after Italy approved a budget with tax cuts and increased spending, amid soaring prices of essential goods.
