First heard in 2023 during Kasablanca’s set at the Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge Amphitheater, the duo took the audience by surprise with this thumping live-oriented take on ‘Breathe.’ Footage of the cover quickly spread online, garnering millions of views across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube as fans called on them to release the track. Their viral video ended up as one of the most shared videos in dance music for 2023 with over 65,000 fans sharing the original posts. Kasablanca’s ‘Breathe’ gives fans an official tribute to the original hit while blending modern tastes of acid house and techno into a true mainstage anthem. It follows their three previous album singles, ‘Remission’ with Lane 8, ‘Terminal Feeling’, and ‘Daydream’ with anamē, with the first half of their recently announced debut album ‘Higher Resolution’ dropping on October 4th.
