Probably filmed at Pathe studio, London. Famous radio, stage and screen entertainer Ronald Frankau performs his act with pianist Monty / Monte Crick. Frankau pours himself a drink and gargles with the alcohol as he swallows. He sings a comic little song about keeping up appearances and keeping up with “the Jones’“. He then moves into a comic monologue about the opera Faust. He runs us through the entire opera scene by scene. He picks up song at the end of his story. He does a little dance.
