Zita Bružaitė - Triptyque | VU St. John’s Church

Today I’d like to share with you this very effective Triptyque (2008) by the influential contemporary Lithuanian composer Zita Bružaitė (b. 1966). The cycle has 3 movements - optimistic Intrada, calm Meditation and energetic Toccata. It was published in 2019 by Music Information Centre Lithuania (link to the score below). I recorded it at Vilnius University St. John’s church earlier this year before the renovation project of the great organ by Janis Kalnins and his team from Latvia has started.
