David Garrett, born in Germany, started playing the violin at the age of four, studied at the Lübeck Conservatory under Professor Zakhar Bron at the age of seven, and by 13, had signed a contract with Deutsche Grammophon, becoming the youngest artist to do so. Having studied with legendary musicians such as Ida Haendel and Itzhak Perlman at the Royal College of Music and Juilliard School, Garrett developed a unique style blending classical music and crossover, earning him worldwide fame. He is known not only as an outstanding violinist but also as the Guinness World Record holder for the fastest performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Flight of the Bumblebee“ and for playing the lead role in the film about Niccolò Paganini, “The Devil’s Violinist.“ For more detailed information about the ’Iconic’ tour and David Garrett, please refer to the following resources: For insights into his world tours and more about his music, you might also find David Garrett’s YouTube Channel and his social media profiles on platforms like Instagram and Facebook helpful. 00:00 David Garrett answers a question from the audience about whether he believes in reincarnation. 01:45 Manuel Ponce: 2 Canciones Mexicanas - II.
