Las Vegas Police Arrest Eight Students For Murder In Teen’s Beating Death The FBI and police arrested eight teenage students Tuesday over the beating of a 17-year-old student who died from his injuries after being put on life support. Jonathan Lewis had reportedly confronted a group who had stolen an item from a younger student before up to 15 of them attacked Lewis. Under Nevada state law, authorities can automatically move murder charges to the adult system for 16 and 17-year-old suspects, while those over 14 can be certified as adults for murder charges.
