Lian Li Got Wood... The Dan Cases A3 Wood Edition is Peak Budget Micro ATX.

Timecodes, though I don’t recommend skipping for visual narrative reasons! 00:00 - The Build, Explained. 01:53 - Build Hardware 02:24 - Motherboard Assembly 04:14 - Dan Cases A3 Wood Assembly 08:05 - Airflow Visualization 08:33 - Cinematic & Desk Setup 10:30 - Coffee Thanks & Bloopers Since its launch earlier this year, the Dan Cases A3 has rapidly become one of the most popular Micro ATX cases currently on the market, and that’s for good reason! The wood edition brings that extra touch of character whilst also opening up the front panel for more airflow, which is a welcomed addition for extra PSU ventilation that’s for sure. The Walnut wood on the front panel of the A3 is well finished with clear attention to detail, including a removable dust filter which is nice to see. As for the hardware, it’s very much exactly the same support as previous A3 cases. Building this PC with three budget levels in mind was a fun approach. More often than not, changing GPU’s between 4060 and 4080 Super for example would come at the cost of varying sizes, but with this setup the aesthetic simply won’t change. The SCYTHE Mugen 5 Rev C is a wonderful air cooler, combined with their Kaze Flex fans which are capable of some serious airflow power once they start ramping up too! Scythe have always crushed it with their cooling support and it’s a pleasure to revisit this tower once again. With a mesh side panel as standard airflow is plentiful, but for those seeking more aesthetics, there’s also a glass side panel you can purchase as an optional extra which is great to see!
