Surreal teen drama pilot for MTV. Written and directed by Gregg Araki. At the last minute, MTV cut the budget in half, forcing Gregg to water down many of his ideas. Additionally, tv’s content restrictions resulted in a very noticeable change in style from most of Araki’s work (where’s the creative swearing?). Still, a fun little show that’s so 90s it hurts. Would like to see where this would go (likely nowhere).
