~5th Alarm~ Date: 9/7/2020 Location: Drake Street, The Bronx. Around 4:30pm Bronx dispatch received a call for a fire in a junkyard. When units arrived they quickly determined they had a working fire in a pallet yard with hundreds and hundreds of wooden pallets. The enormous volume of fire melted cars and trucks on a nearby block. A commercial building on one of the exposures also caught fire. Chief’s requested multiple Tower Ladders to surround and drown the fire on all four exposures.
