Apollo 15 (July 26 – August 7, 1971) was the ninth crewed mission in the Apollo program, the fourth to land on the Moon, and the first to use the Lunar Roving Vehicle. It was also the first so-called J mission, with a longer stay on the Moon and a greater focus on science than earlier landings. Footage includes: (:23) crew photo showing David R. Scott, Alfred M. Worden and James B. Irwin (:39) effects of weightlessness / zero gravity demonstrated (:46) separation of Lunar Module LM-10, call sign Falcon, from Command Module, call sign Endeavor, in preparation for lunar landing. (1:51) shots of lunar surface from Falcon and touchdown (3:00) (3:20) Scott and Irwin on the lunar surface and aboard the Lunar Roving Vehicle. As commander, Scott was the driver.
