Former Aussie soldier granted bail over alleged murder of unarmed Afghan farmer

A former Australian soldier charged with murdering an Afghan villager in 2012 has been granted bail. The court justified its decision reasoning that his life could be in danger in jail, while the defendant does not present a threat to Australian society in any case. The host of The Whistleblowers, John Kiriakou, tells us that’s nonsense and this conclusion is just being used as an excuse for the public.
