“Alakazam“ - magical flute piece by Igudesman

Get the sheet music here: There is something inherently magical about the sound of a flute. At least in my own personal magical universe. The nice thing is that one does not need magic to play these pieces. Magical words and spells have been around for millennia. Magicians have used them to seemingly do the impossible, or simply distract an audience from the trick at hand. These words have been used to open treasures, enchant princes and turn Jeff into a toad. The magic word “Alakazam“ has its roots in Arabic. A similar-sounding Arabic phrase, Al Qasam, means ‘oath’.
