Mr. Sandman

This arrangement of “Mr. Sandman“ was performed by famous organist, Lyn Larsen. While helping with the restoration of the Albee Wurlitzer in the Cincinnati Music Hall Ballroom, Lyn performed several pieces at Ron’s music room. I know we don’t see Lyn in this video because the computer in Ron’s music room recorded his performance. Just like a player piano, 21st century style. Welcome to the home of gifted pipe organ service professional, Ron F. Wehmeier. His music room contains the largest theatre pipe organ in the tri-state (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana) area. This mighty Wurlitzer contains four manuals (keyboards) and thirty-seven ranks of pipes. The Wurlitzer console came from the Chicago Southtown Theatre (original built for the Congress Theatre in 1926, then moved to the Southtown in 1931). Most of the instrument came from The Fox Theatre in San Jose, California.
