Tech Talk: Quelza - Sound Design, Software & In-the-Box Production ()

In this new Electronic Beats TV Tech Talk feature, we cast light on the studio and production process of Parisian artist Léo Naït Aïssa, better known to most under his pseudonym, Quelza. The past decade has seen this French producer and DJ become a firm fixture in the underground techno scene, gracing labels such as Mord, Palinoia, 47 and Hayes Collective among others with this music, while also DJing at acclaimed clubs and festivals like fabric, Dekmantel, Bassiani, Awakenings and Berghain. Quelza’s productions are notably detailed, intricately layered and often contain fragments of influence from breaks and IDM, while inherently staying true to his core sonic aesthetic, techno.
