The Lumber Train (1926)

United States of America. A small lumber train only carries nine tons of wood each time but it is an unusual journey. C/U of a trolley with large number of planks piled on top of it. It is pushed by two men away from the camera and out of the lumber mill. The trolley seems to be on wheels and as the men push it it falls down hill and away from the men. Shot from outside shows that the load of planks is in fact suspended on a cable high above a hillside. The load is propelled over the top of the camera. The cameraman shows his bravery by sitting on top of the cable car device to get a point of view shot of the American canyon the load is being transported across. We see the car moving away from us with two cameramen on top of the device. We then a view they have shot of the river below. L/S of the men on top of the timber.
