Are Humans Still Evolving?

Are humans still evolving? How does nature develop? How did the different levels of nature come into existence? Why is nature doing everything that it is doing? If you look at 14 billion years of evolution, you see nature is always creating a higher level of life, a higher level of evolution. There are rocks and inanimate matter, and over millions of years, different components of different still matter come together and create new connections between them, and they become the vegetative level. Then these, too, differentiate and individuate into many different kinds of plants and vegetation and so forth. And ultimately, those multicellular organisms become connected in new ways that make them at the animate level. This process continues. What we see in the life of the human being is still that program. These patterns of evolution are happening in our personal, social, and global lives. All of that is part of evolution as well. It is part of nature’s program as well. We just can’t see it.
