Donald Trump testifies in New York civil fraud trial

Former US president Donald Trump has returned to court in New York as he testifies in a civil fraud trial. Judge Arthur Engoron has threatened to throw the former US president out of court for repeatedly exceeding the scope of questions. Mr Trump has already racked up thousands of dollars in fines for continually disobeying a gag order to stop criticising court staffers. Despite the challenges, the current Republican frontrunner has continued to steam ahead on the presidential campaign trail. Mr Trump told his supporters he considers it a “great badge of honour because I am being indicted for you”.
