Inertia: Tumble Gates

Inertia. Act One: Tumble Gates “Inertia” is a virtual reality project created by the Ukrainian composer Dmytro Avksentiev aka Voin Oruwu in collaboration with French digital artist Simon Kounovsky. “Inertia” revolves around the decay of human relationship with nature. The five virtual rooms of “Inertia“ were first presented IRL in the futuristic environment of Kyiv’s club ∄. The audience could experience the multidimentional artwork wearing VR glasses, in space immersed in the powerful sound. The audiovisual project is now released under the title STDEV004 on Standard Deviation, the label of ∄. Within the 20-minute VR experience, the artists narrate a five-act piece revolving around human’s distorted and toxic relationship to the earth and its resources and environment from an abstract and dystopic perspective.
