Amateur footage that includes shots: on board the battleship the HMS Duke of York; other ships at anchor; sailors and marines posing and participating in a ceremony in memory of Field Marshall Montgomery; King George VI visiting an aircraft carrier, Vought-Sikorsky Corsairs are on and a plane takes off as the King watches from the bridge; and, the destroyer the HMCS Sioux with men on parade for the King’s visit.
