LOST MEDIA: 1992 Nickelodeon Roundhouse Live Produced by Michael Jackson’s MJJ Music

Here we have a true piece of lost media: Found on a cassette tape in the estate of a former Sony Records exec we have an unreleased demo tape entitled Nickelodeon Roundhouse- Short Music Comp Live. This live album was produced by Michael Jackson and MJJ Music. Roundhouse was a TV show on Nickelodeon/SNICK from 1992-96 and ran for 4 seasons. It was created by Buddy Sheffield (writer for In Living Color) and Rita Sheffield. Some cast members included singer Crystal Lewis, the late Dominic Lucero (former backup dancer for the late Michael Jackson), David Sidoni (dancer for MJ), Jennifer Cihi, John Crane (MADtv), and others. Roundhouse band included: Jack Kelly, John Pena, James Raymond, Marty Walsh, Will MacGregor, and Abe Laboriel Jr. Music written by Buddy Sheffield & Benny Hester. Vocals mostly by Crystal Lewis & backup singers. There is no catalog number on the cassette anywhere, but features 17 tracks including many songs, parodies, & skits heard on the hit TV show.
