Animated multipoint gradients & gradient-driven type distortion in Cavalry 1.5

Today we gonna look intro creation of two effects driven by 🌈 multipoint gradients in Cavalry . 0:00 Intro 0:23 What we will create? 02:00 Basics 12:39 Effect 1 Area creation 28:38 Controlling Points 33:40 Dancing Area 34:23 Path Offset and Duplicator 40:15 Add Type 43:21 Effect 2 Type Distortion Multipoint gradients are quite unique in a motion design area and in a traditional design tools. Part 1. Introduction to Multipoint gradients I will show basic things we can do with them and we will proceed to a more complex setup. We will replicate cover title setup I used in the beginning. We will use a Custom Shape technique to instance copies, will make Nulls to control position of gradient stops as well as Math2 Utility to apply motion in a certain area. Part 2. Gradient-driven Type distortion Time to swirl your typeface We will use Distortion Filter but will drive it with Multipoint gradient in a Blend Shader. We will tweak its look through already known techniques. Cavalry version used in video: Documentation: Cavalry is free (up until 1920x1080) Instagram:
