Heavy Gun - High Class Woman [Golden Voice, 1971]

Heavy Gun from Decatur and Springfield, Illinois. Band members were Joe Cooke on lead guitar and vocals, Gary Starnes on bass and Randy Luckenbill on drums. John Turner was the original drummer and is seen in some of the early photos. The band was previously known as Darwin’s Theory. They later changed their name to Sky King. The single was recorded at Golden Voice Recording Co. in South Pekin, Illinois.
