Over Jump - Second Gameplay Footage #UE5 #Lumen #Nanite

Over Jump is a tribute to Sega Rally, remade entirely in Unreal Engine 5, hoping to become an official remake one day. A new gameplay footage was long due! You can finally see the entire Forest track. This one was recorded directly from the engine, so it’s not the best performance yet. You can check the framerate on the top right, they go from 40 to 50fps. Considering how fast the car goes and how demanding Lumen is, I think it’s a very good result. The gameplay is in 4k in Ultra, with TSR at 50%. i9-9900k and RTX 3090. I believe similar results can be achieved with lower GPU by reducing the resolution and having settings in Medium or High. I still need to add dust trail effects whenever the tires are off-road or over ashes. The tree pop-ins are due to the LODs, but with the next version of UE5 we should have Nanite for trees as well so that would be fixed. There is a Chaos vehicle bug, when the wheels aren’t touching the ground, the RPMs go down. You can notice the speed changing just after the over jumps. Hopefully that will be fixed in the next versions of the engine. Sega Rally gameplay footage from here: Check “Over Jump“ social media!
