Vincent (Starry Starry Night) - Don McLean

This is a redux of a video that I made a few months back. It is a collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh set to the popular 70’s ballad “Vincent“ written by Don McLean. I have made a few changes from my original post. The main difference is that the soundtrack now features Don’s original version of the tune (the first post used guitarist Chet Atkin’s instrumental take). In addition, the presentation of the paintings has been reworked slightly to accommodate the cadence of the new sound track. Finally, I have posted the video in 1080i resolution, which should help to better relate the beauty of these glorious canvasses to the viewer. Below is a list of the paintings in the order they are presented in the video. It is worth noting that van Gogh never sold any of the paintings displayed here.
