Animator Was Paid $2 For Viral MAPPA PV Trailer and It Gets Much Worse

Just a few days ago we saw an animator at Studio MAPPA speak out about the poor pay they were receiving for working on a Netflix Anime. A few months before that we saw Animators quitting and even calling the current Studio MAPPA like a sweatshop. Now there was an update for that article for a current Animator that got paid 250 yen (US$2) for in-between animation for a upcoming MAPPA Film Project. The Film’s recent trailer went viral on YouTube on the official MAPPA Channel too. The Anime Film is Alice to Tres no Maboroshi Kojo being directed by Mari Okada. To top this all off MAPPA got a new Office and admit they got it because increased production is coming. Overall the madness inside of Studio MAPPA seems to be getting worse.
