New York City Drowning in Floodwaters as Rains Swamp Subways, Streets, and Railways

A torrential rainstorm swept through New York City on Friday, causing widespread flooding and major disruptions to transportation and infrastructure. The National Weather Service reported that over 9 inches of rain fell in some parts of the city, making it one of the wettest days in decades. Flooding was reported in all five boroughs, with subway stations, streets, and railways being particularly hard hit.
