About a 100 years ago Ada Osterberg swedish emigrated US, adopted my father James, Ada was the Red Cross nurse, she liked to help people, she raised my Dad during the Great Depression in a cabin full of poor relatives in a backwoods of Michigan. My mother well was also first generation American, her parents came from Oslo. Born poor, they worked together and loved each other for their entire lifetime, these were great people, real people. I am neather great nor real, I am in showbiz! At this point I am a myth! Happily, music is a form of myth, as children are mythic. All beauty drives from believing in myth, but every so often you gotta get real, like Sleaford Mods, like maybe Viagra Boys, like balls. That’s how I got here.
