F-104 Starfighter, FIAT & F-86 Sabre - Italian Air Force 100th Anniversary Airshow

The stars of the show at Pratica di Mare this weekend were a TF-104G Starfighter from the USA, a newly-restored and a CL-13B Sabre from France. The classic jets flew with their modern counterparts: F-2000A Typhoon, AMX A-11B Ghibli, Tornado and F-35A Lightning. Held at Pratica di Mare just outside Rome, the Manifestazione Aerea del Centenario dell’Aeronautica Militare celebrated 100 years of the Italian Air Force, featuring a wide range of current and former Italian Air Force types.
