We danced it a lot with my wife when we met many years ago, and playing this song arranged in Evoking Winds style was really personal to me. And here are the lyrics I wrote inspired by those feelings still burning in decades: We shall go when you’re awake. We will join grey hawk’s flight, Soaring over endless lake, Breathing in the streams of time. When you feel the cold in lungs, Open heart for a humid breeze. It will show the days unsung And the distant destinies. You will notice our land Being tender as young grass, So defenseless in your hands, And so powerful at wrath. Charm of distant shining waves Dancing with the light below Shows us the essential path: We will follow silent dawn. Can you see the forest crowns? We will wander far beyond When the day wanes in sundown We will breathe and stare spellbound.
