Однажды играя на тальхарпе, я наиграл мелодию из песни The Unforgiven группы Metallica. Я решил пофантазировать, а как бы звучала эта эпичная композиция во времена викингов в средневековой Скандинавии. Пересматривая фрагменты из сериала викинги, чтобы вдохновится эстетикой той эпохи, я пришел к мысли, что композиция должна стать похоронным маршем. Немного изменив аккорды мне удалось создать подходящее настроение. Драматизма добавляют голоса валькирий, которые чуть слышно вплетаются в звуковое полотно в виде женского хора. Я подумал что получившийся вариант похоронного марша, стал бы неплохим саундтреком для сцены похорон Лагерты, жены Рагнара Лодброка, девы щита и знаменитой воительницы. Приятного просмотра! Rewatching fragments from the Vikings series to be inspired by the aesthetics of that era, I came to the idea that the composition should become a funeral march. By changing the chords a little, I managed to create a suitable mood. The voices of the valkyries add drama, which are faintly woven into the sound canvas in the form of a female choir. I thought that the resulting version of the funeral march would be a good soundtrack for the funeral scene of Lagertha, the wife of Ragnar Lodbrok, the shield maiden and the famous warrior.
