Plasmatics - Fast Food Service (Bond’s Casino, NYC May 15, 1981)

This video is taken from some of the rare footage of one of the Plasmatics legendary performances at Bond’s International Casino in NYC in 1981. The shows, all used to raise money for the Plasmatics’ Legal Defense Fund was used to defray costs from the huge legal expenses that followed from the Milwaukee “incident” that saw first Wendy arrested by the Milwaukee Vice Squad and then the subsequent beatings of both Wendy and Rod who came to her defense and that ended both of them first in the hospital and then in jail. The audio is rough to say the least, taken off the small ambient camera mic, but the performance is packed with energy in a super fast version of this already fast song which begins “If going all the way ain’t right, honey, let’s eat out tonight!”. Guitarist Rich Stotts trips, becomes unplugged (which was not uncommon for him) leaving the other three members of the band to finish the song with Wendy.
