Smoke on the Water (Cover) - Deep Purple - RUMPUS - Family Band / Kids Band / Rock Band

The RUMPUS band is a kids family rock band playing live classic rock music and original songs! This song is an epic classic rock song by Deep Purple from their 1972 album Machine Head. It chugs along nicely and provides a nice challenge in the bass department while the lead guitar sticks to an off beat interestingly timed solo! We altered the rhythm through the solo because we wanted to keep the groovy feel! We also have added a new SM58 mic for Daniel’s lead vocals and upgraded the guitar pedals from the trusty Zoom G1x4’s to Boss ME80’s. It’s taken about 3 weeks to set the new pedals up to a place where we can play live this weekend, but we think it’s been worth it and can hear a difference in the guitar sound.
