9 day old seal pup sleeping gets woken up by a big wave hitting him

Baby seal having a snooze on a rock on the beach, gets splashed and wakes up. Atlantic Grey Seals - Halichoerus grypus Since 2017 a seal colony has started using a beach close to where I live. I’m doing my best to get the seals more protection and permanent signs asking people to not go close, especially during pupping season and moulting season. Every year more baby seals are born and numbers of seals hauled out are growing.
