A day in the life of a uchi-deshi (a live-in apprentice student) of the Iwama dojo; Aikishurendojo, the founder Morihei Ueshiba O Sensei’s home from 1942 to 1969. See the Aiki Shuren Dojo (as O Sensei named it) after the restoration work that followed the earthquake in early 2011. Follow the daily schedule of early wake up, cleaning of dojo, morning weapons training, raking the jinja grounds and free time with misogi purification baths under the much loved waterfall.
