Meet Ari the Raven

Don’t miss your chance to meet our new raven Ari at the Wild Wonders exercise yard this Sunday! With black iridescent plumage and remarkable intellect, Ari is a beautiful bird that came to us from our friends Portland Audubon. Ravens have a wide variety of vocalizations and are excellent mimics. They are highly adaptable and versatile in their diets and feeding behaviors. Ari is estimated to be 15 years old and was rescued in Oregon as a chick after someone illegally tried to hand-raise him as a pet. Be the first to meet Ari and learn why it’s crucial to respect all wildlife and avoid interfering with wild animals in their natural habitat.
