Great Clock Song Day Oracles Of Sunshine United States ,Heavy Psychedelic Rock “This lone album by the US psych rock band Christopher was originally a private pressing of just 100 copies. So it’s not hard to understand why it’s so rare and valuable nowadays. Musically the album is a mix of psychedelic rock, blues rock and even some heavy psych sound. The album opens with the lengthy title track which is a blues rocker just like the album closer “Day of Sunshine“ as well. Both of those songs are good but they’re not the highlights here. Rest of the material is psychedelic rock oriented and if you ask me the highlights here include “Death Song“, “Fugue“ and “Modern Day Oracles“ which are all really solid songs. The B-side is slightly better than the A-side I think. I like this album very much even if it’s not one of my ultimate favourites of the late 60’s US psych rock. But if you’re a fan of the genre this LP is definitely worth checking out. Especially if you enjoy some blues rock mixed with psychedelia. Recommended.“ Release view What’cha Gonna Do?
