#moon #artemis #goddess ✅ Be my Patron: Featuring my “deer“ friend (the stag) Hirvi 🦌 This is a tribute to one of the songs I had on my cassette as a child, music by Mike Oldfield who I admire a lot and lyrics of a very old poem by Ben Jonson (1601) “Queen and Huntress“ based in mythology about the GODDESS OF THE MOON. Cynthia was originally an epithet of the Greek Goddess Artemis, who according to legend was born on Mount Cynthus. Selene, the Greek personification of the moon, and the Roman Diana were also sometimes called “Cynthia“. Pure Maiden that light the night sky. She is often seen along with a stag and this video features a “deer” friend of mine, a stag called “Hirvi” that already appear in several of my videos. Though Artemis is portrayed as a huntress she’s also a chaste maiden living in the forest and protector of the Wilderness, so I prefer to re-imagine her as protector.
