‘Hell on earth’: Huge Sydney building blaze causes walls to collapse

A fire that broke out on Thursday in Surry Hills near Sydney’s Central train station resulting in walls collapsing, is being described as “hell on earth”. Around 100 firefighters managed to gain the upper hand in the huge blaze, which saw a large section of the wall come crashing down. Witnesses have described scenes of utter terror and panic.
