Switzerland: X-project 2.0 athletes show their skills in the snow

Mandatory Credit: Quattro Media Athletes from a wide variety of disciplines met in the Swiss canton of Grisons to film the X-project 2.0 in September, a project that combines various sports against the backdrop of the snow-covered Engadine mountains near Graubunden. The filmed footage that was released on Wednesday shows a unique combination of different areas of winter sports, including speed skiing, snowboarding, backcountry freestyle, and windsurfing. Some athletes jumped from helicopters with wingsuits. Twelve of the world’s best athletes, including Snow Windsurfing and Windsurfing Wave World Champion Thomas Traversa from France, one of the world’s best big-wave windsurfers and the first windsurfer to surf the monster wave in the Portuguese city of Nazare, runner-up Olympic Champion in Freestyle Skiing Mathilde Gremaud and the Swiss wingsuit duo Geraldine and Simon Fasnacht took part in the project. #Xproje
