10 Hours in the Backrooms

[HELLO, AND WELCOME TO THE BACKROOM RESEARCH CORPORATION! WE ARE DEDICATED TO DISCOVERING AND UNDERSTANDING THE PROPERTIES OF THE BACKROOMS. THIS VIDEO WAS DESIGNED TO GIVE THE VIEWER AN EXPERIENCE SIMILAR TO THAT OF BEING IN THE BACKROOMS THEMSELVES] [USER CLEARANCE LEVEL 0] [INTRODUCTION] Have you ever wondered what it feels like to spend 10 hours in the Backrooms? Can you not get enough of the droning hum-buzz sound of old fluorescent lights, the dank smell of moist carpet, combined with the stale smell of the stained, off-white tile roof and patterned tan wallpaper? Does the thought of clipping out of reality allure you? If any of the previous statements were true, this video is for you! [USER CLEARANCE LEVEL 1] Enjoy 10 hours inside of the Backrooms, without any distractions whatsoever. Our research team was finally able to recover a living explorer. who was described as, upon his return, [DATA EXPUNGED]. Regardless, he was able to capture this video, which he used to ensure [DATA EXPUNGED] as the feed was streamed to a handheld device, as well as a monitoring station, along with the audio. [USER CLEARANCE LEVEL 2] [STANDARD INSERTION PROCEDURES/EQUIPMENT] A Team of four (4) men enter through an Access Point in which one can enter a different level of reality - A “Noclip Zone,“ as our team calls it. They are each equipped with one (1) Closed-Circuit handheld radio, with an effective range of five (5) miles (one is left in the observation room, monitored), An on-body camera, each streaming audio and video to one of four screens in the observation room, one (1) Heckler & Koch MP5 Submachine Gun and three (3) additional 30-round magazines, for a total of one hundred and twenty (120) rounds of 9x19mm Parabellum ammunition, along with a ballistic helmet and vest, protection level IIIA and One (1) Ka-Bar combat knife each. Team members are deployed with backpacks containing different supplies; Two men carry eight (8) MRE kits each, along with two (2) gallons of water each, for a total of sixteen (16) MRE kits and four (4) gallons of water. This will last every member of the team two (2) days, if rationed properly. One man carries a M17 Medic Kit. One final man carries additional 9x19mm Parabellum ammunition, Roughly thirty (30) magazines for a total of nine hundred (900) rounds of ammunition. Any non-human entities found in the Backrooms is to be met with deadly force, as we do not understand their nature and would prefer not to get close enough to be able to. Each explorer has a different monitor assigned to them, who watches their feed closely and takes notes as it goes on by the minute, communicating with them through the radio if necessary. A full research team is comprised of 9 men; One overseer, 4 monitors and 4 explorers. [USER CLEARANCE LEVEL 5] [RESEARCH DATA] It has been observed in the Backrooms that, aside from the seemingly 1950’s American decor, there may be some sort of creature (or creatures) who roam inside, likely feeding on unsuspecting ’guests’ to the Backrooms (Overall hostility is unknown.) Due to the heavily disputed nature of the beast, its appearance is officially unknown; However, it has been speculated that there are multiple creatures residing in the Backrooms, noted as being fairly slender, humanoid beings who walk on 4 legs. The size of the Backrooms, being listed as approximately 600 Million Square Miles, is extraordinarily peculiar, due to the extremely uniform decor, coupled with the segmented rooms. The source of energy for the fluorescent lights is unknown. It is also unknown when or how the Backrooms were decorated, or even the purpose of the Backrooms. Speculation says it could be a way to travel through dimensions. There are several methods to enter the Backrooms. Although it is unknown how they really work, people have been able to enter through elevators, doors, regular-looking walls, and through dreams. One such way to keep an entrance open is to monitor known entrances at all times, through live or pre-recorded video feeds (such as this one.) However, the more knowledge one may know about entering the Backrooms may inhibit their ability to enter in the future. Ideally, deploying people who know nothing about the rooms themselves turns up higher success rates than inserting those who do. [USER CLEARANCE LEVEL 5] [NOTES - RECOVERED EXPLORER] The explorer who was recovered from the Backrooms was recorded as “Showing signs of extreme emotional distress from psychological trauma, likely brought on by traumatic events.“ It was also noted that the subject felt a strange sense of familiarity in the Backrooms - Déjà vu. Despite being told that the camera feed was necessary to keep the Backrooms open, the explorer said himself that he used the streamed audio to ensure that no creatures there were “planning on creeping up behind him.“ EXIT?
