Parachute Goes Up (1962)

Title reads: “PARACHUTE GOES UP“. Lasham, Hampshire. L/S jeep stops on airfield and members Red Devil RAF display team jump out. Panning shot as one of the men pulls parachute out on the field. M/S Major O’Kelly being helped on with the harness. C/U Major O’Kelly adjusting the harness. L/S as tow rope is run out from back of jeep. C/U Major O’Kelly puts on his helmet. M/S ditto. The jeep moves off to take up the slack in the two ropes, pan to L/S of Major O’Kelly waiting. M/S Major O’Kelly with the parachute is billowing out behind him. M/S as slack is taken up on line, pan to L/S Major O’Kelly as he runs forward. L/S jeep going across airfield, pan to M/S Major O’Kelly taking off. Panning L/S Major O’Kelly coming towards camera. M/S ditto. Air to ground shot jeep towing the parachutist. L/S airborne parachute being towed along. L/S as line goes slack and Major O’Kelly comes down and lands.
