Castlevania director Sam Deats and assistant director Adam Deats shared with us their favorite scenes from the show. Here is a scene from Season 1, Episode 3, “The Good Dream,“ and why they like it so much. “This was our first peek at the infinite corridor, a visual problem we solved mostly with digital VFX. We went through many, many variants to ensure we’d find something that felt right thematically, and to push a sense of psychedelia referenced from 60s and 70s film. We eventually landed on the teal and pink color scheme, the same one shared by the “The Beast“ shown in episode 3.
