Bodies found in burned-out rental car driven by Britons in Sweden

Police are investigating a double shooting in Malmo after bodies were found in a burnt-out car rented by British citizens. The unidentified victims were gunned down and then the car was set on fire in an industrial area of Malmo on Sunday, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported. They had rented the car at Copenhagen airport and driven across the Denmark-Sweden border into Malmo, a southern city with about 300,000 inhabitants. Citing sources close to the investigation, Aftonbladet said the car had been rented by a UK citizen. A Swedish forensic team is working to identify the victims, and that police cannot identify them until that process is complete.
