When we saw tech drawings of this frame, we thought Specialized was updating the Roubaix. We were, in fact, wrong. It’s actually a new bike called the Sirrus Carbon. The Sirrus is a flat-bar city, commuter and fitness bike that won’t be going anywhere near a bike race. It would be easy to overlook the Sirrus as just a flat-bar bike, but could its frame have implications for road bike design in the future?
