There’s a company called Chegg - it helps students in US with their homework. Chegg is struggling in user growth and has blamed it on ChatGPT. You already know about IBM. It’s CEO Arvind Krishna says he could easily see thousands of non-customers facing jobs being replaced by AI within next 5 years. And now - Geoffrey Hinton - an AI pioneer working with Google has resigned. Alarmingly, the psychologist and computer scientist has warned AI development must not be scaled up until we know how to control it. The current rate of AI development - to Geoffrey Hinton - is scary. Google has responded - it says the company is monitoring emerging risks while also innovating boldly..
